Kitchen Floor

I hate my kitchen floor! It is linoleum and it probably hasn’t been updated since the 60’s or 70’s. Maybe even earlier, I don’t know. It is so hard to clean. It’s close to a white color and it has these ridges all over. So, dirt gets stuck in those ridges very very easily. It’s also cracked in some places and is stained with pink coloring in some spots. I’ve tried getting those spots out, to no avail. I use the Swiffer wet jet to mop my floor. The pad on the wet jet doesn’t really get into those ridges. I decided I needed to get down on my hands and knees and just scrub the floor! I did that once last year and I guess it was time to do it again. It took me about an hour and a half, over two days to finish scrubbing the floor. The water was very dirty!

I changed the water three times. But now, I’m glad my floor is clean. We’ll see how long it lasts before I have to get scrubbing again!
