Nostalgic Cartoons

It must be the whole “moving on with life” thing but we’ve been quite nostalgic this last little while. Last night, we were hanging out with our neighbors/buddies/cooks, the Nye’s and we somehow got talking about the shows we watched while growing up. Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Samurai Pizza Cats, Sesame Street, Barney (Sharn only for this one), and The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, all classic in their own way. Of course, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot from the Animaniacs left us with some memorable (and educational) songs!

The Universe Song:

The Countries of the World Song:

What ever happened to wholesome, educational children shows? Okay, I’ll confess, maybe they weren’t that wholesome or even that educational and Shaolin Showdown’s not bad, but what else is out there?

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! The cartoons nowadays so crap one!
But the Anamaniacs video a bit the outdated… no Singapore, but got BURMA? Huh?!
And Sharn, I freely admit I also watched Barney, so you’re not the only one. Hee hee!
